Music Exchange with the Taiwan Delegates

Dear Parents,

Our boys had a music exchange with the Tungshih Youth Orchestra (Taiwan) today. We played our 2 SYF pieces and they played a repertoire of 10 pieces (ranging from pop, contemporary to folk songs). I'm sure it was a good experience for the boys as many of them were very impressed by our Taiwan counterparts and were blown away the minute they started their first piece. I have to say that the standard of this ensemble group is very high and we have learnt quite a bit from watching their performance. Hopefully we will get to bring the boys over to Taiwan soon and learn more about how they train.

Parents, thank you very very much for your patience and immense amount of support. Let's keep this dedication going so that the boys can have a holistic education and grow up into a fine gentleman who is not only intelligent but also cultured.

PS: Sorry, no photos because we were in a mad rush this morning :x

Regards,
Miss Joyce Tan
