Dear Parents,
Once again, thank you for being the pillar of strength for our precious boys. I am sure the boys missed playing as a team. We did not forget the party and celebration for these boys and yes our parents. We have planned it in late May after the exams so they can celebrate all they want.:) Details will be given to you and the boys when the time is nearing, so please keep a lookout. I can't wait....the rest of the teachers are busy planning the things needed for them despite our extremely mad schedule in school.
To our boys, patience is a virtue :p Hang in there. meantime, we will have to concentrate on our exams ok :)

KUDOS TO YOU BOYS :)
Dear boys,
You were wonderful on stage. Your performance was outstanding. Though none of us expects the turnout, we teachers feel you are truly wonderful, and you have indeed did your best. Results do not determine who we are. We still love you the same and you boys are truly talented and so precious to us. Let this be part of the journey to be true musicians. Life doesn't always give us what we want. We rise, we fall and yes, there will be sunshine after the rain...eventually :) Don't be disheartened. GOLD is still great. It is what other school seek yet couldn't achieve. We did it. You did it. You gave your best shot. Time was the factor.
Remember, results do not determine who you are. In everyone's eyes, you are just wonderful, truly talented young musicians. To the boys who are joining us in the next syf, we will try our best yet again :)
Do look forward to the celebration and the performance wanted, requested by the taiwanese visitors, simply because you're wonderful.

Bring Your Tailcoats on Monday!!!
Dear boys,
Please remember to bring your tailcoats on Monday! We have to make sure that you're comfortable performing in it. See you guys on Monday!

OUr boys have been given a note of encouragement on Friday. hopefully this helps to boost their confidence. :)
Monday - Please get the boys to bring their tailcoat as wee need them to practise with it, making sure they are comfortable in it.
Tuesday - THE BIG DAY
By now you should know that the bus will leave at 9.30am. We hope you can support the boys as well :) If you are going from school, meet us in the library at 8.45am. We will be getting them ready by 9.00am - hair and make-up.
See you on Tuesday. May the Lord be with us.

Parents joining us on the BIG DAY
Dear Parents,
Thank you so much for your strong support for our precious boys. I will be updating you on what the plan is for that very day. As of now, here's a brief update.
7.15am - Report in the library
9.30am - Leave for Republic Poly
12.45pm - Lunch in school (Jaden's P2 and Dylan's mummy have kindly volunteered to get some goooood food for the boys. We as teachers will do our part too :) )
They will be excused from lessons the whole day, knowing how much they have done for the school, practices after practices. :) The teachers in school have been informed of their SYF Performance and assignments will be set aside for them if any.
Parents, we want you to be part of the event :) If you are joining us on that day (to watch them perform) and you would like to meet us in school, we will arrange transport especially for you wonderful parents :) What would we do without you :) Please let me or Mdm Muna know if you want to go by our mini bus by this Friday as I need to book the bus.

Change in Timing of SYF Performance
Dear Parents,
Good news! I have received news from the SYF Committee that our SYF performance will begin only at 11am. This is due to an unforeseen circumstances on their side as one of the adjudicators are unable to make early. An official letter will be given to the boys with reagrds to the change in timings.
7.15am - to report to the library for practice
9.00am - makeup and getting ready
9.30am - leaving for Republic poly (we have to report by 10.30am)
12.30pm - back to school.
I will confirm again if the boys need to attend the lessons after 12.30pm.
Sorry for the inconvenience caused if you have made prior arrangements. However, we thank god it's not too early and our boys are fully awake by then ;) Thank you parents.
